Lady Cats sweep Lady cougars at ropes, 3-0

The Lady Cat varsity volleyball team won their first match of their dual on Tuesday afternoon against Klondike at Ropes, 3-0; 2516, 26-24, 25-23.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 10-6 overall on the season.

Wildcats throttle Lamesa in opener, 55-27

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team got their season started last Friday with a victory over Lamesa, 55-27, in their home-opener.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 1-0 overall on the season.The Wildcats totaled 546 yards of offense, including 234 passing yards and 312 rushing yards.

Littlefield XC teams have strong outing at Dimmitt

The Littlefield Cross Country teams competed at the Dimmitt Invitational last Saturday.The varsity boys were led by Noah Villanueva, who placed fourth overall with a time of 17:09.

Villanueva, Frietze lead S-E XC teams at Dimmitt

The Springlake-Earth Cross Country teams competed at the Dimmitt Invitational last Saturday. The varsity girls were led by Aabriella Villanueva, who placed fourth overall with a time of 14:18.

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team won their home contest over the Christ the King Golden Lions on Thursday, 546.With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 1-1 overall on the season.

Olton defends home field against Sudan in, 22-15, victory

The Olton Mustangs got the season started with a victory over the Sudan Hornets on Friday, 2215, at Mustang Stadium.Olton starts the season 1-0, while the Hornets fall to 0-1 to begin the Campaign.Sudan got the ball to begin the contest, but the Olton defense forced a three-and-out.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team dropped their road contest on Tuesday at Estacado, falling to the Lady Matadors in four sets, 1-3; 25-18, 19-25, 20-25, 18-25.With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 5-3 overall on the season.
