The Olton Fillies varsity volleyball team opened tournament play at the Littlefield Tournament, falling to the Friona Squaws, 0-2; 14-25, 12-25.With the loss the Fillies fall to 4-4 overall on the season, 0-1 in tournament play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats and Olton Fillie varsity volleyball teams concluded play at the Littlefield tournament on Saturday with a three set thriller, which saw Littlefield take the match, 2-1; 25-18, 18-25, 15-10.

Littlefield Cross Country teams compete in first meet

The Littlefield cross country teams competed in their first cross country meet of the season last Saturday at the Derek Hernandez Memorial Relay Race in Andrews.The Boys finished 10th overall with 108 points, while the girls finished 10th overall with 139 points.

The Littlefield Wildcat and Lady Cat Cross Country teams competed at the West Texas A&M Twilight Meet on Thursday night in Canyon.The varsity girls competed in the small school race, where Evelynn Castillo placed second overall with a time of 15:12.74.
