Cobi Saldana, Thomas Jasso Compete at Guthrie XC Meet

The Littlefield varsity cross country teams competed this past week with Cobi Saldana and Thomas Jasso competing at the Guthrie Rattlesnake Run last Wednesday.Saldana finished 15th overall out of 120 runners, clocking a time of 15:02.

Olton XC teams run at LISD Invitational

The Olton varsity cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday.The boy’s were led by senior, Harry Amador, who finished 28th overall with a time of 19:31.0, while freshman, Jaydyn Vega, finished 164th with a time of 26:58.8.

Nette XC team takes part in LISD Invit.

The Sudan Nettes varsity cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational last Saturday, where they finished 19th overall.They were led by freshman, Anneke Vandepol, who finished 46th overall with a time of 14:36.1. Junior, Aubrey Lopez, finished 85th overall with a time of 15:37.

Bulldogs cruise past Springlake-Earth JV, 52-6

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team took down Springlake-Earth’s JV on Thursday at Bulldog Stadium, 52-6.With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 2-1 overall on the year.Springlake-Earth got the ball at their own 20 after a touchback on the opening kick- off from Amherst.

Lady Bulldogs compete at LISD XC Invit.

The Amherst Lady Bulldogs cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational, where senior, America Pacheco finished 104th overall with a time of 17:35.0.Sophomore, Desiree Rodriquez, finished 109th overall with a time of 17:49.3.

Lady Cats take down Lamesa, 2-0

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ took on Lamesa in their second match of the Dual on Tuesday, as they took down the Lady Tornadoes, 2-0, 25-14 and 25-20.With the win, the Lady Cats improved to 13-7 overall on the year.

Mustangs shutout bobcats in Dimmitt, 55-0

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team went on the road to Dimmitt on Friday, posting a shutout, as they throttled the Bobcats, 55-0.With the win, the Mustangs improve to 2-0 overall on the season.

Lady Cats bounce back to slay Lady Cubs in four sets, 3-1

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team bounced back after losing the first set, 9-25, Saturday in Brownfield to take the next three, 25-21, 25-23 and 25-13, winning the match, 3-1.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 11-7 overall on the season.
