The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team, as well as Kaylob Frietze and Nathan Ramos competed at the Class 1A Regional Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday, where the Lady Wolverines placed ninth overall with 305 points.
The Lady Wolverines were led by junior, Aabriella Villanueva, who placed 12th overall with a time of 13:34.90.
Freshman, Maribel Villanueva, finished 59th overall with a time of 14:52.20, while senior, Aryca Ibarra, finished 60th overall with a time of 14:52.20, and senior, Marisela Rodriguez, finished 105th with a time of 16:12.80.
Sophomore, Yareli Cortez, finished 107th with a time of 16:19.80, while freshman, Brizza Reyes, finished 139th with a time of 17:48.30, and sophomore, Jocelyn Salas, finished 151st with a time of 19:32.30.
On the boy’s side, sophomore, Kaylob Frietze, finished 36th overall with a time of 19:27.90, and sophomore, Nathan Ramos finished 70th with a time of 21:01.00.
