The Sudan Nettes’ varsity cross country team and Samuel Briseno competed at the Class 2A Regional Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Monday, where the Nettes finished 12th overall as a team.
Anneke Vandepol led the Nettes, finishing 22nd overall with a time of 13:28.3, while Andrea Williams finished 32nd overall with a time of 13:40.0, and Aubrey Lopez finished 71st overall with a time of 14:25.4.
Krissy Harris finished 97th overall with a time of 14:49.4, while Kalissa Harris finished 100th, clocking a time of 14:54.8, and Danyelle Castillo finished 111th with a time of 15:07.5. Raquel Arimendariz finished 147th with a time of 16:22.3.
On the boy’s side, Samuel Briseno finished 47th overall, clocking a time of 19:18.6.
