The Littlefield varsity Cross Country Teams competed at the District 2- 3A Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday, where they placed fourth as a team, just missing the cut for Regionals.
The Lady Cats were led by sophomore, Cobi Saldana, who placed sixth overall, advancing to Regionals with a time of 13:51.79.
Freshman, Evelynn Castillo, finished 12th overall with a time of 14:07.82, while freshman, Anaei Ojeda, finished 24th overall with a time of 14:37.24. Senior, Brinley Acevedo, finished 30th overall with a time of 14:57.12, while freshman, Adrianna Caudillo, finished 36th with a time of 15:20.08.
Junior, Sophie Garcia, finished 39th overall with a time of 15:23.75, and freshman, Arian MacDonald, finished 45th with a time of 15:49.75.
The boy’s were led by junior, Ramiro Candelario, who finished 14th overall with a time of 18:56.39. Junior, Thomas Jasso, finished 28th with a time of 20:02.79, while senior, Cesar Garcia, finished 34th with a time 20:29.60.
Senior, Brandon Marines, finished 43rd with a time of 22:07.31, and junior, Jordan Randle finished 50th overall with a time of 24:11.50.
Saldana will run at the Regional Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday, Oct. 22nd.
