Wildcats finish 3-1 at Denver City Tournament

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team went 3-1 at the Denver City Basketball Tournament on Dec, 5th and 6th.They improve to 4-3 overall on the year.The Wildcats took down MCA in their opener, 68-44.

Green, Castillo headline All-District awards for Wildcats

The Littlefield Wildcats finished tied for second in District 2-3A this year and were well represented on the All- District teams.Senior quarterback, Chip Green headlined the list of awards for the Wildcats, as he was named Co-Offensive MVP for the district.

Hornets go 1-3 at Tahoka Tournament

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team competed at the Tahoka Tournament last weekend, where they went 1-3.The Hornets fell to Grady in their opener on Thursday, Dec. 5th, 58-50.

Nettes go undefeated at Lamesa tournament

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team went undefeated at the Lamesa Tournament last weekend, going 5-0.They improve to 9-6 overall on the year.In their tournament-opener on Thursday, the Nettes took down Kermit, 67-38.

Sudan Hornets take down Sundown, 46-37

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team picked up a win on Friday when they took down the Sundown Roughnecks, 46-37.With the win, the Hornets improve to 5-6 overall on the year.

Fillies cruise past Crosbyton at Whitharral Invitational, 55-11

The Olton Fillies’ varsity basketball team took down Crosbyton on Friday, 55-11, to improve to 2-0 at the Whitharral Invitational.With the win, the Fillies improve to 12-4 overall on the year.

Hornets fall to Plains, 53-40

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team fell to the Plains Cowboys on Tuesday, 53-40.With the loss, the Hornets fall to 4-6 overall on the year.It was a tight game early on, with the Cowboys clinching a onepoint lead, 6-5, heading into the second quarter.

Wildcats cruise past Lockney at Farwell Invit., 74-36

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team cruised to victory over the Lockney Longhorns in their Farwell Invitational opener on Thursday afternoon, 74-36.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 1-0 in tournament play on the weekend.

Wildcats go 3-0 to close out Farwell Tournament

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team went 3-0 over the final two days of the Farwell Invitational, finishing the tournament 4-0.The Wildcats improve to 8-4 on the season heading into district play.In their first game on Friday against Portales, the Wildcats took down the Rams, 60-37.

Wolverines earn All-District honors

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team was well represented on the Distrct 2-A-DI All-District teams.Senior, Tyler Tanaro, was a unanimous vote to be on the All-Star Team and was selected as a first-team All-District Full-back and first team All-District nose guard.
