Fillies fall to Highland Park in Bi-district, 1-3

The Olton Fillies’ varsity volleyball team saw their season come to a close on Monday night in Friona, where they fell to the Highland Park Lady Horets, 1-3; 13-25, 25-17, 21-25 and 13-25.With the loss, the Fillies finish the season with a mark of 17-17 overall, 5-4 in district play.

Lady Cats fall in seasonopener to Estacado, 51-43

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team opened their season on Saturday with a loss at home to Estacado, 51-43.With the loss, they fall to 0-1 overall on the season.

Wildcats clinch spot in play-offs with victory over Eagles

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team punched their ticket to the post season with a road victory over the Roosevelt Eagles on Friday night, 33-28.With the win, the Wildcats finish the regular season 5-5 overall, 2-2 in district play.

Lady Cats fall to Childress, 0-3

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team dropped their regular season finale on Tuesday falling to the Childress Lady Cats, 0-3.With the loss, the Lady Cats close out the regular season with a record of 17-15 overall, 2-6 in district play.

Hornets come up short against Owls, 50-29

The Sudan Hornets came up short against the Hale Center Owls on Friday night, falling, 50-29.With the loss, the Hornets fall to 4- 4 overall on the season, 1- 2 in district play.The Hornets totaled 346 yards of offense, including 211 rushing yards and 135 passing yards.

Mustangs tame lions in, 42-0, shutout

The Olton Mustang’s varsity football team picked up a big district win on Friday over New Deal, shutting out the Lions, 42-0.With the win, the Mustangs improve to 5- 3 overall, 2- 1 in district play.
