Wildcats blast Friona for first play-off win since 2016

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team won their first playoff game since 2016 on Friday when they took down Friona, 7236, at Wildcat Stadium in Clovis, N.M. in the Class 3A Division II Bi-district round of the Football Play-offs.

NEttes fall on the road to Whitharral, 75-63

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team fell on the road on Saturday to the Whitharral Lady Panthers, 75-63.With the loss, the Nettes fall to, 1-2 overall on the season.The Lady Panthers jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter, outscoring the Nettes 20-9.

Bulldogs fall to Klondike in first round of play-offs, 68-22

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team saw their season come to a close on Thursday night in the Class 1A Six-Man Division II Football Play-offs, as they fell to Klondike, 68-22, at Lubbock Christian High School.With the loss, the Bulldogs finish the season with a mark of 8-3.

Olton falls to New Home to close out regular season

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team went on Friday to take on the New Home Leopards, falling 21-2.With the loss, the Mustangs fall to 6-4 overall, 2-3 in district play.

Lady Cats take down Lady Owls, 54-42, Duncan earns 100th win

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team picked up their first win of the season last Tuesday at Hale Center when they took down the Lady Owls, 54-42.With the win, the Lady Cats improved to 1-1 overall on the season, as Head Coach Teddy Duncan also earned her 100th career win as a coach.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team closed out the regular season on Friday with a road victory over the Ralls Jackrabbits, 36-14.With the win, the Hornets finish the regular season 6-4, 3-2 in district play.
