The Springlake- Earth Lady Wolverines fell to New Home JV on Friday, 56-52, in the second round of the Whitharral Tournament sending them to the third-place game on Saturday. With the loss, the Lady Wolverines fall to 1- 1 in tournament play on the weekend.

Lady Cats fall to lady blue in championship, 73-39

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team came up short at the Farwell Tournament on Saturday, as they fell to the host team Farwell Lady Blue in the Championship game, 73-39. With the loss, the Lady Cats finished tournament play, 2-1, moving to 5-8 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team defeated the Farwell JV1 team on Friday, 55-44, to advance to the championship game on Saturday against the Farwell Lady Blue. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 2- 0 in tournament play on the weekend.

The Littlefield Wildcats dropped a heart-breaker to the Farwell Steers, 48- 47, in the Farwell Tournament Championship on Saturday. With the loss, the Wildcats finished tournament play, 2-1, moving to 5-6 overall on the season.
