Lady Cats secure District 3-3A Championship

The Littlefield Lady Cats secured the District 3-3A title on Friday with a, 62-56, road victory over the Muleshoe Lady Mules in overtime. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 18-9 overall, 9-0 in district play.

Wildcats pull away from Mules in second half, win, 68-48

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team used a big third quarter to pull away from the Muleshoe Mules on Friday, taking the contest on the road, 68-48, in their second meeting of district 3-3A play. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 14-11 overall, 6-1 in district play.

Nettes take down Olton Fillies, 59-35

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team pulled away in the second half of their contest with the Olton Fillies on Friday to take the district contest, 59-35. With the win, the Nettes improve to 19-8 overall, 10-1 in district play, while the Fillies fall to 8-3 in district play.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team throttled the Ralls Lady Rabbits on Wednesday, 8418, to improve to 9-1 in district play. With the win, the Nettes improve to 18-8 overall on the season.

Lady wolverines rally past kress in OT

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team picked up a huge district win at home on Wednesday over Kress in overtime, 42-38. With the win the Lady Wolverines improve to 9-14 overall, 3-3 in district play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity baksetball team swept the season series with Lamesa on Friday, taking down the Lady Tornadoes, 48-39, to improve to 8-0 in district play. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 17-9 overall on the season.
