The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team used a fast start in Seminole on Monday night to cruise to a, 69- 27, victory over the Kermit Yellowjackets to claim the Class 3A Bi- district trophy. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 22-9 overall on the season.

Amherst boys fall to Panthers, 75-38

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity basketball team fell to the Whitharral Panthers on Friday, 75-38, in district play. The Bulldogs netted eight point in the first quarter, but trailed after one frame, 16- 8.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team held off a late push from the Dimmitt Bobcats on Tuesday night, 60-54, to stay in the hunt for a district title. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 16-12 overall, 8-2 in district play.
MILESTONE - Springlake-Earth junior guard, Taytum Goodman, and the Lady Wolverines closed out the regular season on Tuesday with a win over Lazbuddie. After the game, Goodman was honored for surpassing the milestone of finishing the regular season with over 100 steals, 100 rebounds and 100 assists for the 2022-2023 basketball season. The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team capped off their district championship run on Tuesday night, as they finished the district season undefeated with a, 60-33, victory over the Dimmitt Bobbies. With the win, the Lady Cats finish the regular season 21-9 overall, 12-0 in district play.
