The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team cruised past the Lazbuddie Lady Horns on Tuesday, 59-37, to close out the regular season.
With the win, the Lady Wolverines, improve to 5-5 in district play.
Halee Toscano tallied 19 points, including going four-for-four from the free throw line, to go along with five rebounds and two assists, while Taytum Goodman went nine-for-nine from the line, totaling 13 points, five rebounds, three steals and five assists.
Emma Samaron contributed 13 points, four rebounds, two blocks and one assist, while Jasmine Garcia added nine points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals, and Sydney Furr chipped in four points, three, steals, two rebounds, two assists and one block.
Aryca Ibarra was two-for-two from the free throw line, finishing with two points, two rebounds, two steals and one assist, while Rylie Furr added one rebound, one assist and two steals, and Ada Hernandez added two blocks, one rebound and one assist. Isabella Gonzales finished with two steals and two assists The Lady Wolverines will play in the Class 1A Bi-district round of the Play-offs next week against the winner of Hartley and Wildorado, who played on Saturday.
