Hornets sting Crosbyton, 48-8, in district-opener

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team got District play started on the right foot on Friday, taking down Crosbyton, 488.With the win, the Hornets improve to 4-2 overall, 1-0 in district play.The Hornets totaled 543 yards, including 289 passing yards and 254 rushing yards.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team took care of business in their district-opener on Friday at home, as they took down the Slaton Tigers, 55-36.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 5-2 overall, 1-0 in district play.

Mustang XC team punches ticket to regionals

The Olton High School Cross Country teams competed at the District 3- 2A Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Tuesday, where the Mustangs placed second overall, advancing to Regionals.
