Wildcats earn first win of season against Tulia, 9-3

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team picked up their first win of the season on Tuesday with a, 9-3, victory over the Tulia Hornets at Wildcat Field. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 1-3 overall on the season.

Nettes fall to Wellington, 51-23

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team fell to the Wellington Lady Rockets last Saturday, 51-23, in the Regional Semi-Final, as their season came to an end. With the loss, the Nettes finish the season with a mark of 17-13 overall on the season.

WOLVERINES STUMBLE AGAINST TEXLINE, 84-51

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity basketball teams season came to an end on Friday when they fell to the #4 Texline Tornadoes, 84-51, in the 1A Regional Quarterfinal at Randall High School. With the loss, the Wolverines close the season with a mark of 16-5 overall on the season.

Lfd. varsity track teams take third at Muleshoe

The Littlefield Wildcats and Lady Cats’ varsity track teams opened their season last Friday at the Muleshoe Relays with both teams placing third overall. The Wildcats finished with 115 points overall, while the Lady Cats fmished with 128 points overall.

The Littlefield Wildcats and Lady Cats’ JV track teams competed at the Muleshoe Relays on Friday to open their season. Both teams placed second overall with the Wildcats finsihing with 123 points and the Lady Cats finishing with 166 points.

Sudan represented on District 5-2A All-District teams

Sudan was well represented on the District 5-2A All-District Teams, with sophomore, Stevi Lockhart earning the District’s MVP honor and junior, Addison, Boehning, earning the District’s Offensive Player of the Year Award.
