Sudan 7th grade track teams place first at Farwell

The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ 7th grade track teams competed at the Farwell Relays at Farwell High School last week with both teams placing first overall. The girls finished with 184 points, while the boys finished with 254 points.

NOLAN DEMEL RELAYS CHAMPIONS – The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity track team took first place at the Nolan Demel Relays in Whiteface on Tuesday with 175 points.

REGIONAL MEDALISTS – The Olton Mustang’s Powerlifting team had three athletes medal at the Regional Powerlifting Meet. Tyler Ivins finished in fifth place, while Aldo Vasquez placed second and Eric Valencia won his weight class.

The Sudan Hornets JV track team competed at the Farwell Relays at Farwell High School last week with finishing second overall with 149 points. Individual results are as follows: Boy’s 100-meter dash 3rd Jeremiah Castillo 12.12 6th Angel Rosa 12.90 7th Thys Danzeisen 13.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team won a thriller on Friday night, as they walked it off against the Borger Bulldogs, 11-10. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 4-3 overall on the season.

The Littefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team run-ruled the Perryton Rangers on Friday, 15-5, in their first game of a doubleheader during the Line Drive Classic. With the win, the Wildcats improved to 3-3 overall on the season.

The Wildcats and Lady Cats’ JV track teams competed at the Wildcat Relays at Littlefield High School on Friday with the girls placing first overall with 169 points and the boys placing second with 127 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2nd Wilson 13.48 4th Rojas 14.
