NETTES WIN SON QUALLS RELAYS, BOYS PLACE 2ND

The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ varsity track teams hosted the Son Qualls Relays on Thursday with the girls placing first overall at the event with 183 points. The boys placed second with 155 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2nd Liz Sital 13.

Amherst varsity track teams compete at Son Qualls Relays

The Amherst Bullldogs and Lady Bulldogs’ varsity track teams competed at the Son Qualls Relays on Thursday with both teams finishing sixth overall. The boys finished with 31 points, while the girls finished with 13 points.

Wolverines take down Dimmitt JV, 13-4

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity baseball team won their season-opener over Dimmitt JV on Thursday in their Tournament-opener of the Shorty Barlow Classic. With the win, the Wolverines imrpove to 1-0 on the season.

Lady Cats fall to Levelland, 14-4

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team fell to the Levelland Loboettes, 14-4, on the road on Saturday in non-district play. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 4-3 overall on the season.

LADY WOLVERINES WIN NOLAN DEMEL RELAYS

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines and Lady Wolverines’ varsity track teams competed at the Nolan Demel Relays at Whiteface High School on Tuesday with the girls placing first overall with 175 points and the boys finishing fourth with 114 points.

Olton 7th grade track team place third at Farwell

The Olton Colts and Fillies’ 7th grade track teams competed at the Farwell Relays at Farwell High School on Friday with both teams finishing third place overall. The girls finished with 104 points, while the boys finsihed with 96 points.

The Olton Colts and Fillies’ 8th grade track teams competed at the Farwell Relays at Farwell High School on Friday with the boys placing second overall with 151 points and the girls finishing fourth with 87 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2nd Analise Ramage 14.

The Olton Mustangs and Fillies JV track teams competed at the Farwell Relays at Farwell High School last week with the boys placing first overall with 210 points, while the girls finished second overall with 124 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 1st Sandra Reyna 15.

The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ 8th grade track teams competed at the Farwell Relays at Farwell High School last week with the boys placing first overall with 164 points and the girls placing second with 92 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 6th Brinley Magby 16.
