The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team cruised to a, 95-26, Bi-District victory over Bovina in Hereford on Monday evening in the Class 2A Basketball Play-offs. With the win, the Nettes improve to 23-8 overall on the year.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team used a fast start in Seminole on Monday night to cruise to a, 69- 27, victory over the Kermit Yellowjackets to claim the Class 3A Bi- district trophy. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 22-9 overall on the season.

Amherst boys fall to Panthers, 75-38

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity basketball team fell to the Whitharral Panthers on Friday, 75-38, in district play. The Bulldogs netted eight point in the first quarter, but trailed after one frame, 16- 8.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team held off a late push from the Dimmitt Bobcats on Tuesday night, 60-54, to stay in the hunt for a district title. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 16-12 overall, 8-2 in district play.
