Wolverines fall to Wildorado in Bi-district

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity basketball team had their season come to an end on Tuesday night at Canyon Randall High School, as they fell to the Wildorado Mustangs, 48-42.

Lockhart, Shultz headline Sudan Nettes All-District honors

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team were well represented on the District 4-2A All-District lists. Sudan was led by a pair of seniors, as Stevi Lockhart took home the district MVP, while Gracyn Shultz brought home the District’s Offensive MVP Award.

Fillie basketball players earn All-District honors

The Olton Fillies’ varsity basketball team was well represented on the District 4-2A All-District lists. First team All-District selections were seniors, Kylee Noack, Makenly Smith and Olivia Cox. Junior, Emma Acker, earned All-District Utility Player honors.

NEttes drop heart-breaker to Stratford

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team saw their season come to an end on Friday night, as they dropped a nail-biter to the Stratford Lady Elks in Vega, 49-48, in the Class 2A Area round of the Basketball Play-offs.

Wildcats take down Stanton in Bi-district

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team won their Class 3A Bi-district play-off basketball game on Monday over Stanton, 45-30, in Denver City. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 18-13 overall on the season.

Lady Wolverines season comes to an end against Wildorado

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team saw their season come to a close on Tuesday night in Hereford, as they fell to the Wildorado Lady Mustangs, 42-31, in the Class 1A Bi-district round of the playoffs.

Road repairs scheduled for US 70; local road closures to impact traffic

MULESHOE –On Tuesday, Feb. 21, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is scheduled to close and make road repairs to US 70, from north of the railroad tracks to Birch Street, in the city of Muleshoe.

Lady Cats honored with All-District selections

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team had several girls earn post-season honors, headlined by senior, Madison McNeese, garnering the District 3-3A MVP award. First-team All-District selections were Arianna Cruz, Kennadi Hanlin and Kyndal Edgemon.
