MILESTONE - Springlake-Earth junior guard, Taytum Goodman, and the Lady Wolverines closed out the regular season on Tuesday with a win over Lazbuddie. Lady Wolverines cruise past Lazbuddie, 59-37

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team cruised past the Lazbuddie Lady Horns on Tuesday, 59-37, to close out the regular season. With the win, the Lady Wolverines, improve to 5-5 in district play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team capped off their district championship run on Tuesday night, as they finished the district season undefeated with a, 60-33, victory over the Dimmitt Bobbies. With the win, the Lady Cats finish the regular season 21-9 overall, 12-0 in district play.

Wildcats hold off denver city, 50-47

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team held off of a late surge from the Denver City Mustangs on Thursday, 50-47, at Wildcat Gymnasium. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 15-11 overall, 7-1 in district play.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team suffered their second loss of district play on Friday, as they fell on the road to the Brownfield Cubs, 43-38. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 15-12 overall, 7-2 in district play.

Hornets suffer tough loss to Bobcats, 41-38

The Sudan Hornets dropped a tough contest at home on Friday to the Smyer Bobcats, 41-38. Smyer took a slim lead through the first quarter, 6-5, but outscored Sudan, 13-9, in the second frame to take a five-point lead, 19-14, going into the locker room at halftime.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team defeated the Denver City Fillies on Thursday, 48-25, in a make-up game from Tuesday’s scheduled contest. With the win, the Lady Cats quest for perfection in district play remained intact, as they moved to 10-0 in district, 19-9 overall.

Nettes blast Smyer on senior night, 68-32

The Sudan Nettes took care of business on Friday at home against Smyer, as they defeated the Lady Cats, 68-32. With the win, the Nettes improve to, 21-8 overall, 12-1 in district play. Sudan got off to a quick start in the first quarter, outscoring Smyer, 22-4, in the opening quarter.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team dropped a tough contest to the Hale Center Owls on Tuesday night, 68-47, in Sudan. With the loss, the Hornets fall to 1-9 in district play on the season.

S-E Lady Wolverines stumble against Happy

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team fell to the Happy Cowgirls on Tuesday, 42-30. With the loss, the Lady Wolverines fall to, 9-16 overall, 3-5 in district play. The Lady Wolverines were led in scoring by Emma Samaron, who tallied 12 points and seven rebounds.

Lady Bulldogs come up short against Whiteface

The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity basketball team fell to the Morton Maidens on Friday, 60-27, in Amherst. The Maidens outscored the Lady Bulldogs, 12-6, in the first quarter, and, 17-6, in the second frame to take a, 29-12, lead into the locker room at halftime.
