The Sudan Nettes cross country team competed at the 2A Regional Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Monday, where they finished 20th overall with 479 points. The Nettes were led by freshman, Kalissa Harris, who finished 77th with a time of 14:50.20.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ cross country team punched their ticket to the 1A State Cross Country Meet on Monday at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock, as they placed first overall as a team with 97 points. Junior, Taytum Goodman, clocked a time of 11:06.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team couldn’t get it going offensively on Friday night, as they were shutout at home by the Abernathy Antelopes, 24-0, in district play. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 5-3 overall, 1-2 in district play.
