Lady Cats throttle Lady Mules on the road, 72-39

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team went on the road Friday night and took down the Muleshoe Lady Mules, 72-39, as district play resumed.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 13-6 overall, 3-2 in district play.

Wildcats clash with Mustangs at Wildcat Classic

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team clashed with the Olton Mustangs in the second round of the Wildcat Classic last Friday, where the Wildcats advanced to the Championship game with a, 55-45, victory.

Hornets go 0-3 at Wildcat Classic

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team had a tough outing at the 33rd annual Wildcat Classic last weekend in Littlefield, where they went 0-3 on the weekend.In their tournament-opener Friday morning, the Hornets fell to the New Home Leopards, 75-41.

Lady Cats drop heart-breaker to Fillies, 56-54

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity dropped a heart-breaker to the Shallowater Fillies on Friday, Dec. 20th, 56-54.With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 8-6 overall, 2-2 in district play.Linley Wright was fouled on an attempt by Madison Williams to open the contest.

Hornets take down Kangaroos, 67-43

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team used a big first half to cruise past the Kress Kangaroos on Tuesday, 67-43.With the win, the Hornets improve to 6-6 overall on the season.
