The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team took down the Petersburg Lady Buffaloes on Saturday, 19-15.
With the win, the Nettes improved to 9- 7- 1 overall on the year.
Danielle Mitchell pitched a complete game, going nine innings in the circle. She gave up 18 hits, nine walks and 15 runs, while earning 16 strike outs.
At the plate, Andrea Williams led the way with four RBI’s, one walk and two hits including a double and a triple. Daniella Ramirez tallied four hits, including three doubles and two RBI’s. She also had two walks in the contest.
Mitchell tallied two hits, including a double, two walks and three RBI’s. While Haylee Toscano added three hits, one walk and three RBI’s. She also have five stolen bases on the day. Emeri Rios tallied two hits, including a double, two walks and two RBI’s.
