Lfd. 14u goes 1-1 in pool play at Regional

The Littlefield Lady Cats 14u Softball team began competition in Houma, Louisiana on Thursday at the Southwest Regional Babe Ruth Fast Pitch Tournament. The 14u Lady-cats went 1-1 in pool play against 16u teams.

Lfd. Football Camp set for July 26-28

Littlefield will be holding a Wildcat Football Camp this summer for incoming fourth through ninth graders. The Camp will be held July 26th - 28th from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium. The Cost is $30 after July 1st , which includes a camp t-shirt.

Slaton forfeited the second game to give Littlefield the championship. The Lady Cats finished tournament play with a mark of 3-1. The Littlefield Lady Cat’s high school softball team won the Tournament Championship on Friday over Slaton, 5-4. With the win, the Lady Cats finished the tournament with a mark of 3-1.

The Sudan Nettes’ High School softball team won an elimination game against the Littlefield 14u State Champion team on Thursday afternoon, 9-4, to stay alive in their end of season tournament at Lady Cat Field in Littlefield. With the win, the Nettes improved to 1-1 in tournament play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats high school softball team fell to the Slaton Tigerettes, 6-5, in their winners bracket game on Thursday afternoon, dropping them into the loser’s bracket in their End of Season Tournament. With the loss, the Lady Cats fell to 1-1 in tournament play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats High School softball team defeated the Littlefield 14u State Champion team on Thursday, 9-0, to win their tournament-opener at Lady Cat Field. Brinley Acevedo was hit by a pitch to give the 14u team a base runner to open the first inning.
