WILDCATS SHUTOUT KERMIT, 17-0 IN GAME 1

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team shutout the Kermit Yellowjackets, 17-0, in game one of their Class 3A Bidistrict Play-off series at Seminole on Friday, behind a complete game from senior, Chris Brown, on the mound.

COMPETING AT STATE – Springlake-Earth senior, Carsann Baker, took fifth place in the Women’s Pole Vault competition on Saturday, where she cleared 10’0”, at the 1A State Track Meet at the University of Texas at Austin.

WOLVERINES RALLY BACK TO TAKE GAME 2 OVER COYOTES, 9-8

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines put together a seventh-inning rally to keep their season alive on Thursday night, as they took game two of their double-header with the Borden County Coyotes, 9-8. The win tied the series at one game apiece.

WOLVERINES DROP GAME ONE TO BORDEN COUNTY, 4-2

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity baseball team dropped game one of their Class 1A Bi-District series with the Borden County Coyotes on Thursday, 4-2. Tom Kingston led off the top of the first inning with a walk, before Koda Bigham popped up Jalen Solis off of the mound for out number one.

Lfd. summer volleyball camp set for June 1-3

Littlefield Head Volleyball Coach Claire Head (Cozart) has announced that she and her staff will be hosting the 2021 Littlefield Lady Cat Volleyball camp. The sessions will be held June 1 st through June 3 rd . Session one will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the High School Gym.

Lfd. boy’s summer basketball camp set for May 24-26

Littlefield head Boys’ Basketball Coach Rob Ogle has announced that he and his staff will be hosting the annual Wildcat Basketball Camp, May 24 th through May 26 th , at the Junior High for session one and session two will be at the High School Gymnasium.

WOLVERINES FACE DO-OR-DIE GAME THREE WITH COYOTES ON MONDAY

COMPLETE GAME – Springlake-Earth senior pitcher, Jalen Solis, pitched a complete game in game one of the Wolverines’ three game play-off series with the Borden County Coyotes on Thursday at Hermleigh. He earned five strike outs, while giving up just two walks and four runs in the contest.

DISTRICT CHAMPIONS – The Sudan Junior High girl’s golf team took first place overall at the District Meet with a total score of 267. Addisyn Harrell led the team with a score of 51, which was good for first place overall as an individual.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team claimed the District 3-3A Championship with a, 15-2, victory on the road over the Brownfield Cubs. With the win, the Wildcats finish off the district schedule with a mark of 7-1 heading into the post season.
