The Littlefield Lady Cats 14u Softball team began competition in Houma, Louisiana on Thursday at the Southwest Regional Babe Ruth Fast Pitch Tournament.
The 14u Lady-cats went 1-1 in pool play against 16u teams.
They lost their first game to the defending World Series champs JPRD East, 9-0, but bounced back by beating St. Charles, 10-3.
They had a first round bye in bracket play and played their first bracket game at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Results were not available at press time.
