Wildcats fall to Dalhart in bi-district round

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team saw their season come to an end Monday night at Randall High School, as they fell to the Dalhart Golden Wolves, 61-27.With the loss, the Wildcats finish the season 20- 12 overall.

Olton bounces Post from play-offs, 70-31

The Olton Mustang’s varsity basketball team throttled Post, 70-31, in the Class 2ADI Bi-district round of the Basketball play-offs on Tuesday to advance to the Area Round.“We came out really fast and set the tone early,” Head Coach Bobby Workman said.

Nettes go 2-2 at Lady Cat Invitational in Idalou

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team went 2-3 at the Lady Cat Invitational this past weekend in Idalou taking down Idalou and Roosevelt, before falling to Frenship Memorial, Canadian and Roosevelt.The Nettes improve to, 54-1 overall on the year.

Wildcat baseball goes 3-0 at Post Tourney

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team went 3-0 at the Post Tournament this past weekend, picking up wins over Abernathy, Hale Center and Colorado City.The Wildcats improve to 3-1 overall on the year.Against Abernathy, the Wildcats took down the Antelopes, 8-2.

Wildcat golf team competes at Tulia

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity golf team competed at Tulia last Thursday, where they shot a 446 as a team.Noah Castaneda led the way with a 92, while Rodriguez shot a 102, Jessie Ortiz shot a 117 and Dyer shot a 135.The Wildcats were at Muleshoe on Tuesday.

Lady Wolverines place 2nd at Tulia, Wolverines finish 5th

Political advertisment paid for and approved by Lee Logan.The Springlake-Earth varsity golf teams played in their first tournament of the year at Tulia on Thursday, where the Lady Wolverines placed second overall and the Wolverines placed fifth, as the only 1A school competing.

Lady Cat softball goes 4-2 at Midland Classic

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team went 4-2 at the West Texas Classic in Midland, picking up wins over Stanton, Kermit, Pecos and Presidio and falling to Dumas and Floydada.The Lady Cats improve to 4-7 overall on the year.
