Olton Fillies compete at Oil Patch Invitational

The Olton Fillies varsity cross country team competed at the Oil Patch Invitational on Saturday in Sundown, but did not have enough runners to qualify in the team results. Senior, Kylee Noack, finished 26th overall to lead the Fillies, clocking a time of 15:00.

Lady Cats fall in district-opener to Idalou, 1-3

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team dropped a tough match in their districtopener to Idalou on Tuesday, 1-3, at Wildcat Gym in Littlefield. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 13-8 overall, 0-1 in district play.

Hornets win homecoming game over plains, 56-12

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team pushed their winning streak to four games on Friday, as they took down the Plains Cowboys, 56-12, to celebrate Homecoming with a victory. With the win, the Hornets improve to 4-1 overall on the season heading into the bye week.

Wildcats suffer first loss of season to Cubs, 28-14

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team dropped a heartbreaker to the Brownfield Cubs on Friday, 28-14, at Wildcat Stadium for their first loss of the season. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 4-1 overall heading into their bye week.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team got back in the win column on Tuesday, as they took down the Post Lady Lopes in straight sets, 3-0. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 12-6 overall on the year.

The Lady Wolverines were back on the trail Friday morning, as they competed at the Amarillo College Badger Run, which took place at John Stiff Memorial Park.
