The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team had their season come to an end on Friday night in Petersburg, as they fell to the Nazareth Swifts, 62-28, in the second round of the Class 1A Six-Man Division I football Play-offs.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team fell to the Tascosa Lady Rebels on Thursday afternoon, 66-40, at the Hub City Tip Off Classic at Frenship High School. With the loss the Nettes fall to 0-2 in pool play, 1-4 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team dropped a home contest against the Roosevelt Lady Eagles on Tuesday, 51-46, at Wildcat Gymnasium in Littlefield. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 0-2 overall on the season.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team dropped their first game of pool play on Thursday morning at the Hub City Tip-off Clasic at Frenship High School, as they fell to Coronado, 70-51. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 0-1 in pool play, 1-3 overall on the season.

The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity basketball team opened the season on November 8th with a, 5418, victory over the Loop Lady Horns. With the win, the Lady Bulldogs are 1-0 overall on the season.

The Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team fell on the road on Friday against the Muleshoe Lady Mules, 54-48. Senior, Halee Toscano, tallied 20 points and four rebounds, while junior, Emma Samaron, chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds.

The Amherst Bulldogs’ season ended last Friday with a 44-24 loss to the Groom Tigers in the Bi-District round of the UIL Class 1A-2 High School Football Playoffs at Mitchell Zimmerman Field in Lockney.
