The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team rallied past the Lubbock Christian Lady Eagles on Tuesday evening, 59-57, on the road. With the win, the Nettes improve to 3-6 overall on the season.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team brought home multiple post-season awards in District 3-2A, headined by Trent Wilson being unanimously named the District’s offensive MVP, Alan Flores winning Newcomer of the Year and Jaden Conley being named Co-Defensive MVP.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team cruised to a, 52-32, victory on the road on Tuesday over the Sundown Roughnecks. With the win, the Mustnags improve to 2-0 overall on the season.

The governing body of the City of Littlefield met at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022 at the City Council Chambers. Members present were Mayor Eric Turpen, District 2 Council member Michael Rangel and District 4 Council Member and Mayor Pro tempore Kenny Rucker.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team fell to the Idalou Lady Cats in pool play Friday morning, 59-48, at the Hub City Tip Off Classic at Frenship High School. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 0-3 in pool play for the tournament.

Nettes fall just short against Lady Raiders, 45-42

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team dropped their final game of pool play on Friday afternoon, falling just short against the Randall Lady Raiders, 45-42. With the loss, the Nettes finished pool play 0-4 in the tournament.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team played their Consolation game on Saturday morning as they took down Montwood, 45-38, at the Hub City Tip Off Classic at Frenship High School. With the win, the Nettes finish the tournament 1-4, moving to 2-6 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team improved to 2-0 overall on the season on Friday with a, 62-49, victory over the Tahoka Bulldogs at Wildcat Gymnasium. The Wildcats outscored the Bulldogs, 25-11, behind 10 firstquarter points from Elijah Salazar.
