The Sudan Middle School Nettes and Hornets’ cross country teams competed at the District 5-2A Cross Country Meet on Monday at the Yoakum County Golf Course, where the Hornets places second with 54 points and the Nettes placed first with 19 points.
On the girl’s side, Addison Cornelius led the team, placing first overall, clocking a time of 15:04.98.
Lillianna Sanchez placed third overall with a time of 15:25.47, while Kalissa Harris placed fifth with a time of 16:09.71, and Raquel Armendariz placed sixth with a time of 16:35.55.
Aubrey Lopez placed seventh overall with a time of 16:43.79, while Bentli Magby finished 11th with a time of 17:07.35, and Claire Kerby finished 12th with a time of 17:11.19.
Sophia Bellar finished 14th with a time of 17:21.10, while Carly Groetken finished 15th with a time of 17:23.17, and Isaura Jimenez finished 17th with a time of 17:58.42. Krissy Harris finished 18th with a time of 18:00.78, while Danyelle Castillo finished 20th with a time of 18:14.27.
Haylee Toscano finished 30th with a time of 20:46.88, while Masyn Provence finished 32nd with a time of 21:25.45.
On the boy’s side, Christian Delgado, led the team, placing seventh overall with a time of 14:31.01.
Angel Martinez finished 15th with a time of 15:38.71, while Jason Bohler finished 17th with a time of 15:58.73, and Wyatt Parker finished 22nd with a time of 16:54.62.
Case Cantu finished 27th with a time of 19:18.28.
