The Littlefield varsity and JV cross country teams competed at the Hereford Invitational last weekend, where the varsity boys finished fifth as a team against some of the top 4A teams in the area.
The varsity boys were led by senior, Noah Villanueva, who placed third overall, clocking a time of 16:3 7.47. Sophomore, Angel Pacheco, finished 14th overall with a time of 18:35.37, while junior, Jasiaha Hernandez, finished 21st with a time of 18:53.33.
Junior, Aydan Manicchia, finished 58th with a time of 22:27.00, and freshman, Carson Robinson finished 64th with a time of23:29.00.
The JV girls were led by freshman, Myah Castillo, who placed second overall with a time of 14:16.11.
Sophomore, Alyson Hernandez, finished 17th with a time of 15:56.87, while junior, Aubree Richardson, finished 28th with a time of 16:44.38, and freshman, Bella Enloe, finished 31st with a time of 16:59.14.
Senior, Rhealee Golden finished 36th with a time of 17:38.19, and freshman, Addy Figueroa finished 37th with a time of 17:57.88.
The JV boys were led by junior, Daylan Norwood, who finished 37th with a time of 24:10.31. Junior, Craig Jennings, finished 43rd with a time of 24:43.41, while Christian Mata finished 48th with a time of 25:36.46, and freshman Isaiah Vargas finished 50th with a time of25:52.54. Junior, Brayden Black, finished 64th with a time of 29:10.91.
