The Jimmy Thomas era got off on the right foot on Friday night, as the Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team won their season-opener over Dimmitt on the road, 45-6.
With the win, the Wildcats improve to 1-0 to start the season.
The Wildcats totaled 381 yards, including 374 rushing yards and seven passing yards, while holding Dimmitt to just 192 yards of offense.
The Wildcats will be at home next Friday as they host Denver City for their home-opener.
Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m.
