The Littlefield Wildcats and Lady Cats’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Plainview Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday at Running Waters Draw Regional Park, where the girls finished sixth overall.
On the girl’s side, senior, Brianna Acevedo, finished 12 th overall with a time of 14:21.88, while Brinley Acevedo finished 21 st overall with a time of 15:16.17. Kamryn Meiwes finished 28 th overall with a time of 16:10.55, while junior, Rosa Chairez, finished 30 th overall with a time of 16:17.51.
Leilani Solis finished 31 st overall with a time of 16:26.23, while sophomore, Lauren Turpin, finished 35 th overall with a time of 16:59.46. Junior, Lilli Loredo, finished 40 th overall with a time of 18:16.01, while Rosario Loredo finished 43 rd with a time of 20:25.18.
On the boy’s side, Brandon Marines finished 24 th overall with a time of 20:43.89, while Brady Saenz finished 34 th overall with a time of 24:07.66. Caiden Meiwes finished 35 th overall with a time of 24:32.66, while Micha Keeney finished 36 th overall with a time of 26:08.38.
Littlefield will be competing again on Sept. 25 th at the Lubbock Invitational, which will be held at Mae Simmons Park.
