The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team placed first at the District 4-1A Cross Country Meet in Plainview with 35 points.
Sophomore, Taytum Goodman, led the team, placing first overall, clocking a time of 10:59.06. Freshman, Reagan Ethridge, placed second overall, clocking a time of 13:13.34.
Sophomore, Emma Samaron, finished eighth with a time of 13:51.90, while sophomore, DD Delgado finished 12 th with a time of 14:28.88.
Freshman, Aryca Ibarra, finished 14th overall with a time of 14:41.59, senior, Mahalia Delgado, finished 21st with a time of 15:18.75, freshman, Marisela Rodriguez, finished 25th with a time of 15:41.52.
Regionals will take place on Oct. 25th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
