The Littlefield Lady Cats and Wildcats’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, with the Lady Cats finishing 21 st with 571 points.
On the girl’s side, freshman, Brinley Acevedo, led the Lady Cats, finishing 84 th with a time of 15:35.0. Senior, Brianna Acevedo, finished 119 th with a time of 16:16.9, while sophomore, Kamryn Meiwes, finished 133 rd with a time of 17:02.1.
Junior, Rosa Chairez, finished 151 st with a time of 18:14.2, and sophomore, Lauren Turpen, finished 156 th with a time of 18:30.4. Senior, Leilani Solis, finished 160 th with a time of 19:19.1, and junior, Lily Loredo, finished 164 th with a time of 21:19.5.
On the boy’s side, sophomore, Omar Martinez, placed 24 th with a time of 19:13.2, while freshman, Brandon Marines, finished 109 th with a time of 22:16.7.
Sophomore, Braedy Saenz, finished 151 st with a time of 26:25.8, while freshman, Caiden Meiwes, finished 153 rd with a time of 27:29.2.
The Lady Cats will be competing again on Saturday, Oct. 2 nd at Sundown.
