On May 4th, Littlefield Eagles Boxing Club competed in Clovis, N.M. in the Cinco De Mayo Boxing Tournament. The Eagles once again came out victorious with four medals and two championship belts. The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team dropped a heartbreaker in game one of their Class 2A Area play- off series with Clarendon, 11- 10 in nine innings on Thursday in Floydada.With the loss, the Hornets fall to 19- 8 overall on the season.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team dropped game two of their 3A Area Play-off series with Clarendon on Friday, 9-2, in Floydada.With the loss, the Hornets’ season comes to an end with a mark of 19-9 overall.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity golf team competed at the 1A State Golf Tournament on Monday and Tuesday at the Crystal Falls Golf Course in Leander, Texas, where they finished one stroke shy of a top three finish with a team score of 698.
