HORNETS FACE TOUGH ROAD TEST AGAINST SUNDOWN THIS WEEK

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team is coming off of a come-from-behind road victory against the Olton Mustangs, 37-27. With the win, the Hornets improve to 1-0 overall on the season. “We found out how we would respond when adversity hit,” Head Coach John Cornelius said.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team had their introduction into six-man football on Friday against the Whitharral Panthers, where they emerged victorious with a, 58-42, victory. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 1-0 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team had their first match on Saturday since having to go into quarantine for two weeks. They fell to the Post Lady Lopes in five sets, 2-3. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 0-3 overall on the season.

Wolverines set to open six-man play against Panthers

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines will kick-off their first six-man season on Friday on the road against the Whitharral Panthers. They got their first taste of six-man action on Friday when they scrimmaged Silverton and Crowell.
