S-E boy’s golf team places 9th at Regionals

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity golf team placed ninth overall at the Regional Golf Meet at Lakeridge Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday. The Wolverines finished with a team score of 469 in round one and 428 in round two.

Lady Wolverines finish 12th at Regional Meet

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity golf team finished 12th as a team with a score of 476 in round one. They did not complete round two at Reese Golf Course in Lubbock. Carsann Baker led the team finishing +58, which tied her for 12th overall.

Gabriel Garcia shot a +73 for Amherst at the 1A Regional Golf Tournament at Lakeridge Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday. The score put Garcia 33rd overall.

200 WINS -- On Saturday, April 17th , Littlefield Head Coach Mitch McNeese, picked up his 200th win as a Head Coach, when his Wildcats run ruled the Denver City Mustangs on the road, 14-1.

COMPETING AT REGIONALS – The Sudan Girl’s varsity golf team completed the second round of regionals earlier this week. The girls placed eighth overall from a field of 12 teams. The Nettes moved up one spot from the first day.

WILDCATS BLAST MUSTANGS TO SWEEP SEASON SERIES

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team swept the season series with Denver City on Saturday with a, 14-1, victory behind a one-hitter from senior pitcher, Chris Brown. With the win, the Wildcats improved to 14-6 overall, 5-0 in district play.

S-E SENDING MULTIPLE ATHLETES TO REGIONALS

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines and Lady Wolverines’ varsity track teams competed at the District 3 and 4 1A Area Track Meet on Tuesday in Vega. The boys claimed the Area championship, while the girls finished as the Area Runner-up.
