SUDAN COMES UP SHORT AGAINST STAMFORD

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team came up short on Friday, as they fell to Stamford at Post, 46-20. With the loss, the Hornets fall to 0-4 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Wildcats and Lady Cats’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Plainview Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday at Running Waters Draw Regional Park, where the girls finished sixth overall.

Sudan Middle School cross country teams compete at Whitharral

The Sudan Junior High Hornets and Nettes’ cross country team competed at the Whitharral Invitational on Saturday. On the girl’s side, Addison Cornelius placed second overall, clocking a time of 13:26.00, while Lily Sanchez placed sixth overall with a time of 14:01.73.

Nettes XC team has good showing at Whitharral

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity cross country team competed at the Whitharral Invitational on Saturday. Addison Harrell led the way for the Nettes, placing second overall with a time of 12:41.78, while Kambry Tolbert placed third overall with a time of 13:08.05.

Lady Cats’ JV XC team finishes fourth at Plainview

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ JV cross country teams competed at the Plainview Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday at Running Waters Draw Regional Park, where the girls finished fourth overall. Junior, Cadence Sanchez, finished 22 nd overall with a time of 17:31.

Hornets scheduled to host Crosbyton for Homecoming

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team came up short in their neutral site game against Stamford at Post last week. They are looking to turn things around this week for Homecoming with Crosbyton coming to town. “We have played a really tough schedule so far,” Head Coach John Cornelius said.

Hornets XC team has strong outing at Whitharral Meet

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity cross country team competed at the Whitharral Invitational on Saturday. Drew Lockhart led the Hornets on Saturday, placing fourth overall, clocking a time of 18:42.34, while Alan Flores finished sixth with a time of 19:11.

Lady Wolverines place third at Plainview
