The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team picked up a huge win at Cowboy Corral last Thursday over #8 Happy, 68-36. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 2-1 overall on the season. “I was pleased with our performance,” Head Coach Israel DeLeon said.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ cross country team placed eighth overall out of 36 teams in the small school division on Saturday at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational. Taytum Goodman led the team placing first overall, with a time of 11:03.

Anton Lady Dogs compete at LCU Chaps Invitational

The Anton Lady Dogs’ cross country team finished 31 st overall out of 36 teams in the small school division with 775 points on Saturday at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational. Junior, Andalesia Alonzo-Rivera, led the team finishing 154 th overall with a time of 15:36.00.

OLTON BLASTS TEXICO ON THE ROAD,56-22

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team traveled to New Mexico on Saturday morning and took down Texico, 56-22. With the win, the Mustangs improved to 2-1 overall on the season.

Wolverines finish 20th overall at LCU Invitational

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ cross country team placed 20 th overall out of 36 teams in the small school division with 553 points on Saturday at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational. They were led by senior, Josh Samaron, who finished 78 th overall with a time of 19:46.90.

Littlefield XC teams compete at LCU Invitational on Sat.

The Littlefield Lady Cats and Wildcats’ cross country teams competed at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational on Saturday. The Lady Cats placed 27 th overall out of 36 teams in the small school division with 722 points. Freshman, Brinley Acevedo, led the team finishing 127 th with a time of 15:03.

Olton XC teams take part in LCU Chaps Invitational

The Olton Fillies and Mustangs’ cross country competed in the small school division on Saturday at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational. Junior, Kylee Noack, finished 30 th overall with a time of 13:25.80, while freshman, Ciara Zermeno, finished 90 th overall with a time of 14:20.30.

Nettes XC places 11th at LCU Chaps High School Invitational

The Sudan Nettes’ cross country team placed 11 th overall out of 36 teams in the small school division on Saturday at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational. Addisyn Harrell led the team, finishing 24 th overall with a time of 13:17.60. Kambry Tolbert finished 66 th with a time of 14:01.
