The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team traveled to Amherst on Friday and took down the Lady Bulldogs, 69-16, in their first meeting of the season. With the win, the Lady Wolverines improve to 15-7 on the year, 6-0 in district play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team is ready to make another post-season run under fifth-year head coach Teddy Duncan. The Lady Cats are 16-8 overall, 4-1 in district play. Coach Duncan is assisted by Keith Logan, Emily Castillo and Susanne Perry.

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team is looking to make another deep run in the post-season, after making it to the Class 2A Regional Semi-Finals last year. Head Coach Benny Lockhart has the Nettes at 15-10 overall, 2-0 in district play in his ninth year at the helm in Sudan.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team has posted an 18- 3 record thus far this season, as they look to avenge last year’s first-round play-off exit. Head Coach Bobby Workman is into his fifth year as the leader of the Boy’s basketball program at Olton.
