The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ saw their season come to an end on Tuesday night, as they fell to 1A #3 Nazareth, 63-26, at West Texas A&M University.
With the loss, the Lady Wolverines finish the season with a mark of 23-8 overall on the season.
Sayler Beerwinkle led the team in scoring with 16 points, to go along with five rebounds and three steals. She was also 100% from the free-throw line. Emma Samaron tallied seven points, five rebounds and two blocks, while Halee Toscano chipped in three points and two rebounds.
Taytum Goodman contributed seven assists and five rebounds, while Sydney Furr finished with three rebounds and two steals.
“Emma Samaron came off the bench and gave us a huge offensive threat,” Head Coach Jeri Been Goodman said. “Jasmine Garcia came off the bench and gave us quality minutes on defense. We never got in our flow with our transition offense. Hats off to Naz they are a great basketball team.”
She added, “I am so proud of the job these Lady Wolverines did this season. Going three rounds in the playoffs was probably something no one but us thought was possible.”
