For the second week in a row, Littlefield has played the spoiler for a school’s Homecoming. The week taking down the Post Antelopes, 61-6. With the win the Wildcats improve to 3-0 overall on the season!

Hornets sting Eagles, 52-7

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team stayed in the win column, stretching their winning streak to two games, after a, 527, thrashing of the Ropes Eagles on Friday. With the win, the Hornets improve to 2-1 overall on the season.

Olton Mustangs pull away late from Wolverines, 34-20

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team improved to 3-0 on Friday with a, 34-20, victory over the Texico, N.M. Wolverines at Mustang Stadium. The Mustangs totaled 384 yards of total offense; 270 rushing yards and 114 passing yards, while also forcing six turnovers on defense.

Revision to week 2 football contest

By DEREK LOPEZ The Lamb County Leader-News Football Contest wrapped up its second week this past weekend, with 10 high school games and 10 collegiate football games. There was an error on the games while being scored. Valley defeated Springlake-Earth, 46-13, according to MaxPreps.

JV Wildcat football team takes down Post, 36-16

The Littlefield Wildcats’ JV football team stretched their winning streak to three games on Thursday, as they defended their home turf against the Post Antelopes with a, 36-12, victory. With the win, the Wildcats JV squad improves to 3-0 overall on the season.

Hornets sting Tahoka, 36-12

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team picked up their first win of the season on Friday, as they defeated the Tahoka Bulldogs on the road, 36-12. With the win, the Hornets improve to 1-1 overall on the season. The Hornets totaled 271 yards of offense; 153 rushing yards and 118 passing yards.
