The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team picked up a big win over the Petersburg Buffaloes on Friday, 61-16, on the road. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 5-3 overall, 2-1 in district play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats fell on the road on Friday against the Childress Lady Cats, 0-3, in district play. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 19-12 overall, 2-5 in district play.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity cross country team finished sixth overall on Monday with 163 points at the District 4-2A Cross County Meet that was ran at Lubbock Christian University. The Hornets were led by Alan Flores, who placed 11th overall with a time of 19:23.

The Olton Fillies’ junior high cross country team finished fourth on Monday at the District 4-2A Cross County Meet with 93 points at Lubbock Christian University. The Fillies were led by Gabriella Reyes, who placed seventh overall with a time of 14:13.
