The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team couldn’t get it going offensively on Friday night, as they were shutout at home by the Abernathy Antelopes, 24-0, in district play. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 5-3 overall, 1-2 in district play.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team fell to 5-3 overall on Friday, as they fell to the New Deal Lions, 48-17, dropping them to 1-2 in district play.

Wolverines blast Buffaloes, 61-16

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team picked up a big win over the Petersburg Buffaloes on Friday, 61-16, on the road. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 5-3 overall, 2-1 in district play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats fell on the road on Friday against the Childress Lady Cats, 0-3, in district play. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 19-12 overall, 2-5 in district play.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team won a fiveset thriller over Tulia at Wildcat Gym on Tuesday, 3-2, to secure a play-off spot. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 19-11 overall, 2-4 in district play.
