Wildcats drop heart-breaker to Farwell, 48-47

The Littlefield Wildcats dropped a heart-breaker to the Farwell Steers, 48- 47, in the Farwell Tournament Championship on Saturday. With the loss, the Wildcats finished tournament play, 2-1, moving to 5-6 overall on the season.

Nettes split games with Sands, Post Thursday in Lamesa

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team split their games on Thursday on the opening day of the O.W. Follis Basketball Tournament in Lamesa, as they beat Post, 88-32, and fell to Sands, 40-32. The Nettes moved to 1-1 to open tournament play on Thursday.
