Wildcats fall short against Mules, 48-20

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team dropped a tough contest in their season-opener at Muleshoe on Friday, as they fell to the Mules, 48-20, in this year’s edition of the ‘War on 84’. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 0-1 to begin the season.

Lady Cats sweep estacado in straight sets, 3-0

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team swept the Estacado Lady Matadors at Wildcat Gymnasium on Tuesday, 3-0. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 8-3 overall on the season.

Olton Fillies take down Dimmitt in Littlefield, 2-0

The Olton Fillies’ varsity volleyball team took down the Dimmitt Bobbies at the Littlefield Tournament on Thursday, 2-0, in their second match of the day. With the win, the Fillies improved to 1-1 in tournament play on the weekend.

Lady Cats rally past lamesa, 2-1, in tournament play

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team won a tight match over Lamesa Thursday afternoon, 2-1, at the Littlefield Tournament. The Lady Cats led for most of set one, but after leading 21-16, Lamesa mounted a comeback.
