Wildcats blast Lamesa on the road, 47-18

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team won their third consecutive contest on Friday, as they went on the road and took down the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes, 4718. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 3-1 overall on the season.

Hornets Drop Heart-Breaker on Homecoming to Seagraves, 21-20

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team dropped a heartbreaker on Homecoming to the Seagraves Eagles on Friday, 2120. With the loss, the Hornets fall to 2-2 overall on the season. The Hornets totaled 285 yards of offense, including 158 passing yards and 127 rushing yards.

Amherst takes down wolverines, 52-48

The Amherst Bulldogs’ varsity football team won a cross-county showdown in Earth on Friday over the Springlake-Earth Wolverines, 52-48. With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 4-0, while the Wolverines fall to 2-2 overall on the season.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team fell to the River Road Lady Cats on Tuesday at home at Wildcat Gymnasium, 0-3. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 12-7 overall on the season.

SE JH cross country teams run hard at Lfd. Invitational

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines and Wolverines’ Junior High cross country teams competed at the Littlefield Invitational last weekend, where the Lady Wolverines finished fifth overall with 129 points.

Wildcats take down Post, 38-14, for Homecoming victory

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team won their homecoming game on Friday over the Post Antelopes, 38-14. With the win, the Wildcats improved to 2-1 overall on the season. The Wildcats finished with 332 yards of total offense, including 237 rushing yards and 95 passing yards.
