Lady Wolverines finish fourth at Lfd. Invitational

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines and Wolverines’ varsity and JV cross country teams competed at the Littlefield Invitational. The Lady Wolverines finished fourth overall with 106 points.

Hornets grind out win over Eagles, 24-21

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team went on the road on Friday night and rallied past the Ropes Eagles, 24-21. With the win, the Hornets improved to 2-1 overall on the season. Sudan totaled 474 yards of total offense, including 302 passing yards and 172 rushing yards.

Lady Cats take down lamesa, 2-0

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team won their first match of their Dual on Tuesday over the Lamesa Lady Tornadoes, 2-0. With the win, the Lady Cats improved to 10-6 overall on the season.

Sudan edges out Tahoka, 18-14

The Sudan Hornet’s varsity football team picked up their first win of the season at home on Friday when they edged out the Tahoka Bulldogs, 18-14. With the win, the Hornets improved to 1-1 on the season. The Hornets tallied 326 yards of offense, including 185 passing yards and 141 rushing yards.

The Olton Mustang’s varsity football team was clicking on all cylinders on Friday when they shutout Dimmitt, 43-0, in their home-opener at Mustang Stadium. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 2-0 overall on the season.
