Melton Batey, 80, of Fairfield, TX passed away Feb. 25, 2022 at the Dallas Veterans Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. He was born Nov. 7, 1941 in Madison, LA to Rupert Chester Batey and Audrey (Young) Batey. Melton served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Mike Slate, 72, of Littlefield passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 in Lubbock. He was born on Oct. 10, 1949 at Goodfellow Air Force Base, in San Angelo, TX. Mike graduated from Amherst High School with the Class of 1968. He married Jalee Mote on May 11, 1972 in Amherst.

Rogelio Saenz, 86, of Littlefield passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at home. He was born Jan. 4, 1936 alongside his twin brother, Robert, to Julian Saenz and Guadalupe Rodriquez in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Rogelio married Hilaria Garcia Feb. 18, 1995 in Anton.
